IMCO ESTABLISHES PARTNERSHIP WITH POWER MARKET EXPERTS
TORONTO — August 10, 2020 — The Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (“IMCO”) is pleased to announce it has established an exclusive partnership with Valence Energy Capital Corporation (“Valence”). Valence will identify and source opportunities in select global power markets, enhancing IMCO’s capabilities through sourcing, acquiring, managing and delivering clean, reliable and cost-effective power to end-use customers.

Matt has executed investments involving onshore and offshore wind and solar projects, tax equity financing, corporate power purchase agreements, and energy production hedging. In total, Matt has been involved in the execution of more than $100 billion of corporate M&A transactions.
Matt holds a B.A. in Economics from McGill University and a Master’s in Economics (with High Distinction) from the University of Sydney.

Trevor has more than 15 years of international experience in the energy sector, having worked on transactions and projects in Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, Mexico, and Australia.
Trevor holds a B.Sc. Engineering from the University of Alberta and an M.Sc. Management (with Distinction) from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
